Did a look around the web for DriveUp Savings today. Found another CU that’s Driving Up Savings for their members:

We encourage you to save more if you can. A $25 monthly contribution on a 60 month term auto loan would be $1,500 of accumulated savings! The funds are locked in your special savings account for the term of your loan.

An interesting new twist I noticed: “If your special savings account is closed or you stop the program, your auto loan rate will be increased by 0.25%. The funds saved cannot be withdrawn from the account while the loan is still open.”
